Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB); and, Syarikat Al-Bukhari Sendirian Berhad handed over a Tithe Money collection at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 3rd March afternoon. The Tithe Money was handed over to Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the Islamic Religious Council of Brunei.

The tithe money from Perbadanan TAIB depositors amounting to over three million, seven hundred thousand Brunei dollars was handed over by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB. Meanwhile, over BND40,000 from Syarikat Al-Bukhari Sendirian Berhad was handed over by Awang Fakhri Alam, the Company's Manager.
